The Urban Etiquette Handbook

This link was first posted on this blog on November 21st 2007

An interesting read written in the New York Guide site – fairly in-depth dissemination of categories like ‘Getting along’, ‘Love and Sex’, ‘Cell Phones and IPods’ and other stuff

Many of the principles occur in all major population centres in the West so it’s not just about NY City.

If you’re an adult this is definitely worth a read…

Other Stuff on THIS site

I’m at work and not able to login to my home PC tonight so no access to my links database – sorry…

So instead here’s an internal link to another page on this very site

The content of this page ranges from jokes and funny pictures and videos to the shocking, and, quite frankly, disgusting so make sure your dinner has settled before browsing some of the items on this page!

Normal service should be resumed tomorrow…

Church Of The Flying Spaghetti Monster

“I and many others around the world are of the strong belief that the universe was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster. It was He who created all that we see and all that we feel. We feel strongly that the overwhelming scientific evidence pointing towards evolutionary
processes is nothing but a coincidence, put in place by Him.”

Fuck My Life

Everyday life stories submitted by the site’s readers. You’ve got to laugh at some of these but others are not so funny. You can leave comments on each story.

Here’s one:

“Today, I was jogging in my neighborhood when I saw a kid’s ball roll over to where I was jogging. I stopped grabbed the ball for the kid and started to hand it to him. He then yelled “Stranger Danger” and his parents came sprinting out. I had to explain the story to the police for 30mins. FML”

Which Movie Should I Watch?

If you know exactly what you’re looking for then you would be better off using the iMDB but have you ever watched a film that you really liked and then just wanted to find out about other films in the same genre or similarities?

I certainly have and I have found Clerk Dogs a good resource for this. You just enter one of your favourite films and the site will then give you close matches based on all aspects of your favourite films.

an all-time classic if you ask me…
